News junkies and morning show viewers may know Dana Perino as a popular host on Fox’s The Five who has over two million followers on social media. Not 
everyone knows, however, that Perino is an avowed Viszla owner and has said that the real star in her family is her Vizsla, “Jasper.” Perino has a new book out, “Let Me Tell You about Jasper” in which she discusses how dogs can transcend rancor and partisanship and bring families together, like her own. The book, fully illustrated with what are described as hilarious photoshop photos, may make a fine gift to a Vizsla owner.
To those of us who have had this remarkable friendship from a dog or another animal we are truly so lucky I’ve been blessed with many dogs all were strays or abandoned and I won’t forget any of them they brought me joy they gave me peace when I needed a friend the most God bless
I have a Standard Poodle and he is so wonderful. I was thinking today about having a child late in life keeps you young. We got Alex when we were in our mid 70s and I think he has kept us young. We are now in our mid 80. Alex is 11 years old going on 12 and he is doing good. He is so extremely smart and has personality plus. Any one who has met Alex never forgets him. He turns on a touch lamp by touching it with his nose. He has been fun teaching him things and he never forgets anything we have taught him. Our love for him and his love for us is wonderful.
