Artist’s Thoughts: This is a painting of my daughter’s purebred Standard Dachshund. This is shot of him being the playful pup that he is. I wanted to paint my daughter’s dog as a gift and wanted to get him in one of his playful times. I took many photos and found this one as the best one to capture him in movement.
