Artist’s Thoughts:  Though my sweet Rocket is a purebred mini-dachshund, we were told when we bought him that he was discounted because of his “unfavorable” markings. We thought he was the most unique and beautiful boy, were dazzled by his dappled coat! I wanted to paint the beauty I see in him every day. I especially wanted to capture in his eyes how adoring he is.
