Artist’s Thoughts: “My piece features winning Purebred dog breeds from 2018, sitting together on a red velvet Victorian sofa. I wanted to create something fun, with a hint of sophistication that would complement that of the purebred dogs. To keep the focal point on the dogs, the background is kept clean and simple. I created this piece on canvas with acrylic paint.”
