The most popular name for the Irish Wolfhound is “Finnegan,” followed by “Jameson” and “Dublin,” according to Veterinary Pet Insurance Company, the nation’s largest provider of pet health insurance, which analyzed its database of over 525,000 insured pets to report the finding. We were pleased – and honored – that an Irish Wolfhound was present when the resolution to recognize National Purebred Dog Day passed in the Colorado Legislature back in 2015.
