Artist’s Thoughts: A life-long artist and dog lover, much of my career has been centered around portraiture, or the ability to recreate physical likeness and character in a painting or sculpture. I have known and loved dogs with a variety or personalities and feel that they should be celebrated as much as their human counterparts. While the breed specific details of a dog provide certain characteristics or abilities, it is each dog’s unique personality that makes him or her so beloved by her owner. I work to celebrate the beauty of the breed alongside each dog’s unique spirit.
