Earlier this month, the AKC launched its “I Am a Breeder” video series aimed at promoting responsible breeders (their words). Our words:  Putting a face on heritage breeders and showing them to be dedicated, “normal” people devoted to their respective breeds because they love their breed is a great idea, and probably long overdue.  

The videos visit four breeders at home and visits with them, their families, and their dogs.  As the AKC says, “They show a side of breeders that many do not get to see, and give people a behind the scenes look at the love and dedication breeders have for their dogs, and the dogs that become family pets to loving owners.” We hope you’ll click on one of the “sharing is caring” social media buttons right below the video to pass along this important message.
