Kingsbury Harriers’ “Assembly Required” Photo Challenge

If you’ve ever seen an aluminum folding chair after a hurricane, you’ve seen how some dogs sleep: Legs every which way, head at an impossible angle, parts that don’t seem to belong to the same dog.  You have wonder, “What goes where?”

If the dog arrived brand new in a box, directions would read: “Assembly required.”

We welcome Kingsbury Harriers, repeat sponsors, and terrific supporters of National Purebred Dog Day. Their challenge this year is epic!

The challenge: The way some dogs sleep can only be described as ‘disorganized.’  Their ability to contort into seemingly impossible positions is both baffling (how do they sleep like this??) and adorable – chaotically jumbled, yet apparently comfortable enough to fall into a deep slumber. Your task is to capture your dog’s pretzel pose in a photo, freezing the moment they are most creatively twisted, their limbs splayed in every direction, and sound asleep. Note! You are not allowed to “enhance” the photo by repositioning any part of the dog. Don’t forget the sign (read below), it will easily be added to a sound-asleep dog.

The Sponsor: Kingsbury Harriers

The prize:  In honor of their new kennel building under construction, Kingsbury Harriers, is offering a $100 Lego gift card!  Open to everyone
