Artist’s Thoughts:  Whippets are designed for speed and express such beauty as they run. Watercolor is a fluid medium and seemed the perfect way to express the essence of the Whippet. The horizontal flow of paint and water invites the viewer to feel the speed and ground covering ability of the dogs in motion. The sweet temperament of the Whippet combined with their grace in movement is expressed in the name of the painting “Love On The Run”.
