The baby is all grown up.
Back in 2017, we told you about Steamboat Springs, the Colorado Ski Resort that welcomed the newest addition to their Ski Patrol Team, a Saint Bernard puppy named, appropriately enough, “Powder” (skiers will “get” this). The then 25 pound, nine week old youngster was there for one job: To be stinking cute. Steamboat Resort hoped that people would find “Pow Pow” so cute, they wouldn’t be able to resist going up to her and chatting with her human, Duncan Draper, about ski patrol and safety. “Powder” was Drapers’s fourth St. Bernard, and filled the hole left when Draper’s beloved”Bear” passed away the previous July.
Power is bigger now. A lot bigger. She tips the scale at about 130-pounds, and while she’s big enough to wear the traditional barrel around her neck, don’t let it fool you, it’s only for looks. That said, Draper hints that “After 5 p.m., there may be some brandy in there!”

“Powder” has her own ski pass, though when she was a baby, it was a struggle to keep her eyes open long enough to have her season pass photo taken. When she was introduced, there were complaints, including one from Anna Hall, a visitor from New York. She said, “[This” is ridiculous. No dog should be allowed to be that cute.”
We agree!
