Artist’s Thoughts: “I and my family are big on rescuing dogs. Putting them in a boat adrift symbolizes their need to be rescued. I personally have rescued a Dalmatian, a couple Cocker Spaniels, a Basset Hound and a Schnauzer, therefore I wanted to depict the bundle of energy of the Cocker Spaniel and the low energy of the Bassets.”
