Artist’s Thoughts: I wanted to highlight the diversity of purebred dogs. The dogs’ size, appearance, and talents are so varied I thought it would be interesting to juxtapose them in the composition. I also wanted to create something that would be colorful and eye-catching as a poster to celebrate Purebred Dog Day
