Too many breeds are at risk of vanishing in the country of their origins, and between poorly conceived dog legislation and a strident “adopt-don’t-shop” mantra, these breeds stand to become vulnerable in the United States, as well.  We galvanized into action to resurrect and protect Panda Bears, and yet Pandas now outnumber the Skye Terrier world-wide.  Let’s not have this happen on our watch anywhere.
