Don’t we all suspect that our dogs are “up to something” during our absences? Ikea offers one scenario:
If you wonder what your dog does while you’re not home, consider a Pet Cam like the one in the video below. It “sees, talks, and tosses treats to your dog even when you’re not home.” Check out their promotional video below:
We’re not sure if this is right for every dog as we could see how some dogs might become agitated by hearing their owner’s voice, but not being able to see them. Still, it’s something to consider for some pooches especially if it keeps them happy or out of trouble.
Speaking of trouble, we close with one of our all time favorite videos, the “cheeky Whippets.” Paul Sinclair of Victoria, Australia, always wondered what his Whippets were up to while he was at work. Look at what he found one day:
After he’d taken the video, he misplaced it. When he rediscovered it two years later, he posted it on You Tube never dreaming that “Versace,” “Armani,” and “Cocoa” would become Internet stars, let alone that it would be viewed on Facebook over three million times in two weeks.
The 46-year old gardener said in the four years he has owned them, the Whippets have destroyed his couches, shoes, remote controls, and even the front seat of his car. Ahhhh, love. The things we forgive our dogs when they give us “the look.”
