In this day and age, you’d have to start with Amanda Seyfried and her Australian Shepherd, “Finn.” Both appear with regularity on social media including Instagram and Pinterest. Add a whole bunch of actors that include Susan Sarandon, Bruce Willis, Paul Bettany, Alyssa Milano, Demi Moore, Tim Robbins, Mel Gibson and James Brolin. Where would actors be without a director?Steven Spielberg has had an Aussie. Our list also includes novelist, Devin O’Branagan, singer, Trace Adkins, late comedian, Flip Wilson, and an old favorite among people of a “certain” age: Marlin Perkins (Wild Kingdom). The inventor of Apple, Steven Jobs, had an Australian Shepherd, as did rodeo star, Jay Sisler, whom we’ll mention in a later post. Did we miss anyone?
