Artist’s Thoughts:  This painting is inspired by a photo of my son’s Italian Greyhound dogs. Wherever they are they have to find the sun, to soak up its warming rays. This is a graphic image that lends itself to an abstract format. You can see the outline of the telltale greyhound shape, yet feel the warmth that the sun washes over their bony exterior. This painting can be hung in 4 different ways, all of them work visually. My family loves the wind-hound breed, we’ve raised Afghans, Whippets, adopted Greyhounds and Italian Greyhounds. Would love to promote this incredible race of dogs!
