Calling on PONS Owners

Everything we read about the Polish Lowland Sheepdog always includes references to the breed’s sense of humor. Our sense is that these dogs not only embody the ability to make their handlers look like idiots, but do so with keen timing and purpose.  We’d like to hear from PONs owners. Is this true?

  1. My experience of my PONS are they are very bright, similar to the Border Collie in intelligence (we have both) but do have an off switch- which includes me!! They are stubborn, lovable, greedier than Labrador’s, and extremely trainable. If you give a wrong signal they do the wrong thing. My girl looks at my body language when I am working her- we do Rally and have just started Competitive Obedience! Just adore the breed- hence have three!!
