Sri Lankans saw the commercial below in the 90s, but the Old English Sheepdog has been a part of Dulux paint commercials since 1961. The breed has been a constant and hugely popular feature of Dulux ads, so much so that many people in the markets that see the ads refer to the breed as a ‘Dulux dog’ rather than an Old English Sheepdog. Other than “Dash,” the very first OES to appear in Dulux commericial,  all the Dulux dogs have been breed champions,  five of them ‘Best in Show’ winners.
