This handmade Beagle teapot by Christy Crews Dunn is thrown with two pounds of clay so it can hold, when completely fired, about a quart of liquid. The teapot is technically functional in that it’s made of mid-range fired stoneware and contain no lead or hazardous toxins, but you’ll want to check with the “specs” to ensure that it’s what you want. For those who just want a neat, collectable breed item, this fills the bill. Naturally, you’ll want the Beagle creamer, as well. Dunn offers a few other breeds you can see here.
