Pay attention to breed nicknames!  The Bouvier‘s moniker, “des preux vuilbaard,” translates as ‘dirty beard, and for good reason. Genetically wired into every Bouvier seems to be a “seek and destroy” mission to alter dry clothing found on their owners, so inclined is a Bouvier to dunk their big heads into a water bowl, mud puddle, or snow, then find their owners to “share.” Does your breed have a nickname that it has lived up to?
