It was named one of 2014’s best commercials – and also the worst. One reviewer wrote, “Hey, here’s a great way to sell the Equinox! Let’s remind all the viewers that life is fleeting and everything you love will cease to exist soon!” while another said, “What the hell? This is not even a car commercial anymore. It doesn’t make you want to buy an Equinox, it just makes you sad that your dog is going to die before you are.”

In our view, loving dog owners are the last people who need to be reminded of the fleeting nature of a dog’s time on earth. What say you?
