Artist’s Thoughts: “My speciality is drawing with colored pencil mixed with graphite because it gives me the flexibility I need and enjoy to create. German Shepherds are used for K-9 police units and are extremely recognizable. I wanted the dog’s eyes to be piercing and serious because of the nature of this breed and the line of work it’s a part of.
