Artist’s Thoughts:  I paint Lego pieces to make portraits of animals. I started after a Great Dane passed away and make a portrait of the dog. I have gone on to make over 70+ works of art, several of which have been animal portraits and works of art. Some of my portraits contain over 20,000 individually painted pieces. I liked the challenge of my medium and trying to use an English Bulldog. I have made several portraits, but I created a unique technique of acrylic painted Lego pieces and make portraits that capture the best of an animal. The bulldog model used is one of our pets but contains ~17,000 individually painted Lego pieces.
