Painting Details: My dog Hans (1999-2011) inspired me to learn about the Berger Picard and its history. I love all dogs and the Berger Picard is one of my favorites. To come back from the brink of extinction suffering the ravages of WWI to recently being accepted into the America Kennel Club is noteworthy.
