We confess a weakness for creative imagery that manages to capture breed type while using non-traditional media. Dominic Gubb of the UK has worked with “up cycled” (re-cycled) furniture, plastic bottles, unwanted gym rope, leather, plastic, and in the case of the Bulldog seen here, corrugated cardboard on a steel armature. Gubb makes use of everything that enters his studio, including the packing materials!  Dominic’s own dog? A very cute Jack Russell Terrier. Read an interview with Dominic Gubb here.
