Remember this?
As hard as it is to believe, the 20th anniversary of the classic movie, “Best in Show,” is next year. We’re like, “Wait, the movie came out just a couple of years ago!”
Twenty years. Believe it.
In honor of anniversary, the San Francisco Sketch Fest will have a reunion of Eugene Levy, Jane Lynch, Ed Begley, Jr., Catherine O’Hara, Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge, John Michael Higgins, Michael Hitchcock, and Michael McKean, along with director, Christopher Guest, and producer, Karen Murphy. An in-depth onstage conversation among the cast will moderated by Kevin Pollak before a screening at the Castro theatre on January 19th, 2019. Tickets are $55/$45, and you can get more details here.
We’ve delighted in sharing trivia about this movie over the years, from “Which ‘Best in Show’ Character do you Most Resemble” to ‘My Left Feet,’ and we wish we could be in attendance at the cast reunion to learn more – but if you can attend, will you share your experience and impressions with us?
For now, if you’re a fancier, tell us which character you most resemble, and if you just love the movie, which is your favorite scene?
We named one of our needs after this movie: Mariners Natural Pistachio….Tache. We watch tbis movie a few times every year. At dog events, we can always find the characters. Brilliant movie
