Every day, you come up with dinner for the dog to eat. You must be a god of food.
If you bait your dog with treats in a show ring, surely, you are a human pez dispenser.
Knowing exactly where your dog likes to be scratched? Now you are the feel-good guru.
We do so any things with, and for, our dogs; how must they see us when we can’t run as fast as they do, smell or hear as accurately as they do – and they’ve never once seen us catch a rodent with our teeth. Are we divine? In this challenge, you will be part of your photo because you are illustrating how your dog sees you. Don’t forget to include the purebred dog!!
The late Jay Kitchener was a tireless advocate for purebred dog ownership and ethical breeding. He had a wicked sense of humor, and the phrases he coined to counter inaccurate and unfair portrayals of the purebred dog world continue to be used today. “Take back the conversation” was a “Jay-ism.” So was “Ditch the guilt.” We suspect Jay would have had a few humorous ideas on how his beloved Gordon Setters saw him.
We thank the anonymous donor who has generously sponsored the Jay Kitchener Memorial Challenge with a $50 VISA credit card;
The challenge: Illustrate “How Your Dog Sees You” – and yes, you are part of the photo, and yes, you need to include your dog(s);
