Painting Details:  “Ivan” is a Hungarian Mudi owned by a friend. They [Mudi] struck me as a very interesting breed as they seem to be somewhat similar to Shelties in the head detail and size and their job of herding sheep.

Artist’s Thoughts: I own a Shetland Sheepdog who my daughter and I show in agility, rally, and obedience. She currently has her AKC MACH, CDX, RE, THD as well as many other AKC, CDSP, and CynoSport Rally titles and is a Therapy Dog with Therapy Dogs International. I have drawn dogs since a young age when I also had Shelties that I trained in AKC   obedience.
