Artist’s Thoughts: I was visiting a Rodeo show in Waimea, Hawaii, when I saw these dogs in a parked truck. I engaged in a conversation with the dog owner and we shared our compassion for these dogs. The impression of each dog showed so much personality and intelligence that I wanted to capture in this image.
