Artist’s Thoughts: Since I got my first pure-bred Golden Retriever at the age of nine, I have been fascinated with books that present the various dog breeds. The paintings I am submitting are part of a series of paintings based on images from my collection of vintage dog breed monographs and old encyclopedias.
