What’s not to love about the term, “Monkey Whiskers?”

On an adult Afghan Hound, the long hair that grows on its lower jaw is called a “Mandarin,” but on a puppy, the hair that grows around the lips, chin and foreface is called Monkey Whiskers. As the dog grows up, most of this hair is shed to be replaced by short and close hair.
