Artist’s Thoughts:  I love painting peoples dogs in poses that make you smile. I wanted to paint a dog from each of the AKC dog groups for this poster competition. I know several of the dogs I chose as models. I decided to paint with gouache because the richness of the colors would make a poster really stand out.
