One of the last minute entries of the 2015 Sheep of the Year Awards was not like the others. Actually, four of them weren’t like the others. Scroll down and check it out:
Galahad the Llama, Mabel the Pug, Dave the donkey and Daisy the cow masqueraded as sheep to infiltrate the competition because “Wool, is so beautiful, all the animals want in.” It was a clever campaign by the Campaign for Wool, an organisation established by the Patron, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wale and launched in 2010 to educate and promote the natural benefits and biodegradability of wool.
If you have sheepdogs, than chances are good that you collect “sheep things,” and are drawn to artwork and photographs of sheep. If that’s the case, you’ll love the top 100 sheep images for 2020 that the Campaign for Wool has on its website (this one was our favorite).
A Pug that wants to be a sheep? How about one that wants to play with one?
I love that Sheep of the Year ad. 😊
I don’t know about you, but it looked to me like the pug was trying to hurt the sheep, not just play with it.
That struck us as well, Heather (and to clarify, Heather meant to say “herd,” not hurt).
Herd, not hurt. 😳
