Artist’s Thoughts:  I saw a photo of this Pit Bull in a magazine. It was one of the dogs that had been rescued from the infamous Michael Vicks’ dog-fighting ring and there was a look in its eyes that haunted me. The other image is of a Pug named Charley. Our neighbor has Pugs, and I just love how serious his little face is sometimes.
