The 50′ Chihuahua

It’s said that “street art” is one of the most sincere forms of expression because it is “of” the people. Chihuahua owners will be chihuahua, art, street artheartened, then, by an image of their breed so large, it can be seen from a good distance. This gigantic mural appears in London on the side of a 1960’s block of flats on Chrisp Street (near Chrisp Street Market) and is so huge, it can be seen from the All Saints DLR Station.

A British temporary duo called, “Irony & Boe” painted the image. Whoam Irony and Placee Boe (their full nicknames) have collaborated on several large wall images in the British capital. You can read an interview with the artists here.
