The AKC GR’s “Don’t Judge a Book By Its Cover” Photo Challenge

We are honored to welcome back as a photo contest sponsor the AKC Government Relations Department.  Few entities do as much as the AKC GR does to protect the rights of all dog owners, promote responsible dog ownership, and work to ensure that “dog laws” are reasonable and non-discriminatory. We urge you to visit the AKC GR’s website, see what it does, and support it because ultimately, it supports us.

The challenge: As the old adage goes, you cannot judge a book by its cover, which is to say that you can’t always determine, nor should you judge, the true qualities of someone or something by superficial details alone. Big dogs can be softies, little breeds can be mighty, hairy breeds do have eyes – you get the drift. There are a lot of ways to interpret this, and your challenge is to dazzle our judges with your unique way of seeing it.

The prize: The AKC’s 22nd edition of the New Complete Dog Book, an absolute must for any dog lover’s library;

The Sponsor: The AKC Government Relations Department
