In 2016, and out of inspiration from American artist, Laurie Anderson’s concert, Music For Dogs, and her film, Heart of a Dog, a competition was run by the Brighton Festival for dog owners to send in pictures of their dogs to painted on a mural. Only 50 photos were selected, and as you can see, more than a few were of purebred dogs. The mural that was painted by Brighton based artist and muralist, Sinna One, took ten days to complete and appears on a building on Kensington Street in Brighton, UK. You can see the difference stages of development here.
