The Unique American Hairless Terrier

The hairless variety of the American Hairless Terrier (AHT) is unlike any of the other hairless breeds in a couple of ways. First, the hairless AHT is born with a light “birth coat” which she loses by the time she’s 8-12 weeks old. This leaves her completely hairless (as in no hair on her head, feet or tail), and that makes her a different from her Xolo or Chinese Crested Hairless counterparts. In addition, the hairless AHT adult has full dentition of strong teeth. Chomp.
