Written over 75 years ago was a video entitled, “Some Modern Dogs Show Their Link to the Past.” Thank goodness for the people who thought purebred dogs were worth valuable film so that in 2017, we can see what an Irish Wolfhound, Alaskan Malamute, and other breeds looked like, and thank goodness to British Pathe for making it available on-line.

Watching this old footage makes us think of something “Coco” Chanel once said (and we paraphrase): “Fashion changes, style remains.”  If your breed appeared in this film, has it changed much?
