When the on-line site, Campaign, created a shortlist of the ten best commercials featuring a dog, the number four spot was taken by Wall’s ‘talking dog’ ad. Wall’s, a brand of meat products in the United Kingdom, commissioned a campaign featuring “Alan,” a French Bulldog, used by men to express their gratitude to their loved ones. “Alan,” who lives in a ring box and plays the keyboards (it’s TV, folks), was actually played by a bitch named, “Piglet,” and voiced by British actor, Alex Noodle. It’s a little strange, which is why, we suppose, we like it.
