You’ve taken a photograph for National Purebred Dog Day’s 2018 Photo Challenge happening on May 1, and after meeting the rules of that challenge, you like your chances and want to enter the contest. What do you do, where do you do it, and when?
On May 1 at 12:01 A.M., individual posts will be posted on National Purebred Dog Day’s Facebook page for each photo challenge. Each post will have a photo of the prize for that particular contest. To enter the contest, simply post your photograph under the post with the picture of the prize you hope to win. This next part is REALLY important because if you forget to do it, your photograph will be ineligible. You MUST Include with your photograph the name of the contest you’re entering. We need this in case you accidentally post your entry in the wrong place.
You’ll have eighteen hours to post your photograph. On May 1, each contest closes at 6 P.M. Mountain Standard Time sharp (see the map below to determine what time that is where you live. For friends outside the continental United States, use this time converter to help figure out what time 6 PM Mountain Standard Time is where you live)
Over the next several days (depending upon how many photographs are submitted), judges will be making their determinations. Winners will be announced on Facebook as they are determined, so check in frequently. If you win a prize, you must send us your e-mail address so that we can connect you with the prize donor. At that point, you and the sponsor of the sponsor make arrangements for you to get your prize.
You’ll have three days to get your contact information to us either privately on Facebook, or by sending it to us at nationalpurebreddogday@nationalpurebreddogday.com. Please don’t make us hunt you down. If a prize is not claimed within three days, it will be forfeited.
And that’s it. Easy peasy.
