Artist’s Thoughts: Jim Killen is an internationally known dog artist. He has always had a dog as his companion, including Labrador Retrievers, German Short Hair Pointers, Springer Spaniels, Poodle, Bassett Hound, Beagle, Braque d’Auvergne, Irish Setter to name a few. He is a conservationist and does enjoy hunting, but to him, “the dog is the hunt…watching and working with them in the field”. All of these dogs are faithful companions.
