It’s a movie, a line of beauty products, and a term used in the 1940s, but in the world of dogs, it’s a slang expression given to certain breeds that have too short a muzzle, too deep a “stop” (that part between the back skull and the muzzle) and a round, apple-shaped head for their breed. It’s also sometimes called a “pussy cat face,” and it’s not a desirable characteristic in certain breeds. Is yours one of them?
