Dr. Pepper Puli

The word, “Puli,” is believed to have appeared for the first time in Hungarian literature in 1751, but it wasn’t until the middle of the Great War in 1915 that a breed standard was first written up, and the first pedigree issued in 1924. The breed was nearly exterminated during the first and second world wars as dogs barking and trying to protect their homes were routinely shot. Happily, the breed has rebounded and now shows up in a Dr. Pepper commercials (see it here:https://youtu.be/WegzlLehL5o). FWI: Two different- and terrific – dogs were used in this commercial.
