This is another installment from Purina’s Puppy Chow commercials from 2015 dubbed, “Puppyhood” featuring a heart melting Cavalier King Charles Spaniel whose “stage” name is the same as her “real” name, Chloe.
The original ad produced by BuzzFeed got nearly 400,000 views mere hours after it was published. Other installments followed that charted “Max’s” progress with Chloe (just do a search for “Chloe” on our site to find the other ads). It was clever marketing strategy. The commercials combined their sales pitch to drive traffic to a magazine-like website called “Puppyhood” created by the Night Agency which strove to be the “ultimate resource” for puppy owners.
