Grafitti Poodle

The legendary street artist, Banksy, once said,  “Dogs are the original graffiti artists.” Given that they’ve been lifting their legs on buildings and snow banks long before we invented spray paint, perhaps it’s so. Still, we like the creativity of “taggers” who include dogs as their subjects. This particular “Poodle graffiti” created by Spanish street artist, Escif from Valencia is located near the front door of Gaeta Soccer Stadium in Gaeta, Italy. Unwittingly, Escif helps remind us of the importance of “type,”  the qualities that enable us to distinguish this painted dog from being, say, a Leonberger.
