He lives in Doggeroo with his human friend, Sarge, but no sooner have the pair moved there, and they have a mystery on their hands. Paws. Both.  Someone is stealing his stuff. His name is “Jack,” and he has a nose for crime. Literally. Jack is a Jack Russell Terrier. 

Jack Russell: Dog Detective is a delightful 12 book series for children, and by all accounts, kids love these books. While there  are no history lessons to be learned (as in Wishbone), Jack has a sense of humor as both protagonist and narrator and his stories appeal to kids who loves dog and mysteries. Along the way, Jack also meets a few other breeds. Kids look at too many TV and video screens, in our opinion. Help them cultivate their imagination by reading or listening to a book!
