We welcome Monica Turner McPherson to NPDD’s photo contest as a repeat sponsor (they’re the best!) and she has a contest theme for which you will need the help of a small person. As in a child-person. There is a special caveat with this contest you will want to make note of. Find it in the “challenge” section.
The challenge: There are those dogs who instinctively know that a child is not a short adult, but a younger, somehow different version of one. Such dogs show infinite patience and tolerance with children, and when they’re together, it’s sometimes hard to tell who is actually in charge! A little one might be holding the leash, for example, but who is is leading whom? Your challenge is create a scene that makes our judges wonder: Who’s the boss here? Special instructions: The Internet is a scary place these days, and we ask that you use a prop to obscure the face of the child for their protection and privacy. They can wear a hat pulled low, or put the dreaded The “I L♥ve My Purebred Dog” sign in front of their face. Part of the dog can obscure their face, of they can wear oversized sunglasses. You get the idea.
