Oldest of the Coonhounds?

The American Black and Tan Coonhound, said by some to be the oldest of the coonhound breeds, and famous for his “cold nose” (the ability to follow an old trail with barely any scent left to it). In 1945, “Cooners” also became the first Coonhound breed to be recognized by the AKC.
