Artist’s Thoughts:  My thinking is to capture my subjects personality and true essence by viewing several photos of my subject, or if possible by spending some time with them. My process is the same whether painting or drawing, I call it “The Art of Removal” I apply my medium and remove it then reapply continually until I’m content with the tonal values I create.
